OUR VENUE - COMMON GROUND CENTER

Haybarn at night

Common Ground Center, located in Starksboro in the Green Mountains of Vermont, is 30 minutes from Burlington and Lake Champlain. The 700 acre site is located on an old farm, nestled in the valley between the Hogback and Green Mountains.

Common Ground offers a unique setting that stands out from other venues with its beautiful Vermont landscape, breathtaking scenery, green business practices, and distinctive buildings and cabins. â€‹

NHMC ALL-CAMP TUNES

Hobart Sessions with Pete, Riley, David S

We are continuing to build a library of tunes that are special to us at Northeast Heritage Music Camp to kick off our All Camp Jam. The list is not etched in stone which means that during camp we may or may not play these tunes.  You are not expected to know them. However, if you are curious about them, click here:

COVID-19 POLICY - 2025

COVID Policy

We strongly encourage vaccination against COVID-19, but are no longer requiring it.

Campers may be asked to:

  • Take a rapid test prior to and/or upon arrival at camp

  • Test at other times during the week

  • Wear a high quality mask at camp during specific events (such as evening dances or in the event of a covid outbreak)

  • Leave Common Ground Camp if they test positive during the course of the week

We ask that campers remain flexible and understand that the Board of NHMC reserves the right to adjust its covid policies at any time to protect the health and safety of all attendees.
